Cardy Group Home Care is a non-medical agency founded by Jane Ohenhen in 2017. After working with the  vulnerable and those with profound mental health issues for several years, she wanted to grow in the industry of helping others. The individuals she worked with came with unique qualities that could humble anyone with a honest heart. Hence, the desire to continue to assist others including age-in-place seniors drove Jane to find new ways to help others.

Jane is the author of a children's book, a community volunteer and a holder of a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN. She has worked with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and with Non-Profit Organizations in a continued mission to help those in her community. For the past 25 years, Jane has worked in human services and the last 17 years with individuals diagnosed with mental health issues. She is passionate when it comes to assisting and helping others gain life satisfaction, irrespective of their lifestyle or situation Jane's motto is one we have adapted as our own: Caring is Loving.

While working in mental health, Jane received training in assisting seniors aging-in-place, seniors’ health, dual diagnoses, mental health disorders and more from the Connecticut State Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Caring for others from the heart needs dedication and compassion. Hence, Jane instills in all Cardy Group Home Care employees the understanding that making a difference in the life of others is not a source of income but a source of self-satisfaction and comfort to both the caregivers and care recipients.
